Background and Experience


Cooper’s journey into building design began with a strong interest in construction and carpentry. While initially aspiring to work on-site, he transitioned into design to channel his creativity and technical skills to make a lasting impact. His early experience as a labourer gave him valuable insights into construction challenges, which now informs his design approach.


He has worked on a wide variety of projects, honing his skills to manage complex workflows, navigate tight regulations and overcome challenging site conditions while delivering exceptional results.


Now at EDG Projects, Cooper brings this wealth of experience to the team, focusing on innovative design solutions that meet client goals.

He is also a member of Design Matters and is working toward VBA Building Design Registration, showcasing his dedication to professional growth.

Influences and Mentors


Cooper credits much of his professional growth to mentors, including his uncle Ross, who taught him the fundamentals of construction, and his colleagues Kym and Liza, who shared their extensive design knowledge. Their guidance helped shape his practical, client-focused approach.
